The admission procedures have been designed to assist parents/guardians of perspective students with the admission process. The checklist approach allows you to examine requirements and to understand who is responsible for each admission step.
The following are the steps for admission:
1. Call for an appointment to schedule a time to meet with the admission counselor. This initial visit will include a tour of the school, interview with the student and parent/guardian and a review of the admission procedures.
2. North New Summit School must be provided a copy of school records to include:
- Current report card or grade sheet
- Class schedule from prior school
- Individual Educational Plan (IEP)
- Copy of cumulative record
- Treatment Plans-medical, psychological, and/or behavioral
- Other documents as maybe required for support of student admission
(It is the parent’s/guardian’s responsibility to obtain and deliver the above information.)
3. Complete Application Packet
4. Evaluation of educational records and documents
(Students should wear khaki pants, shorts, skirts, and/or skorts. These can be purchased from any vendor.)
6. Final approval from the business office
